In the COBLENS manufactory we produce outstanding eyewear. However, excellence as a standard can only be achieved with our valued experts, who check absolutely every single detail for perfection. An uncompromising choice of materials, specialized production partners and state-of-the-art, innovative manufacturing techniques only result in a COBLENS through precision craftsmanship. It is the symbiosis of high-tech and craftsmanship.

Whether in titanium or in acetate - only when all components meet the highest standard are they assembled into a COBLENS pair of glasses.

It is this attention to detail that allows us to achieve extremely low manufacturing tolerances and thus minimal gap dimensions. Even the smallest deviations are eliminated before assembly. The result: hair-fine joints at the pivot points, perfect freedom of movement at the nose pads and sharp lines in the overall appearance. Excellent.

Als das Label COBLENS gegründet würde, hatten Ralf und Nils schon zwanzig Jahre lang den Markt für Brillengläser revolutioniert und waren zu einem der innovativsten Anbieter geworden.

It was not only obvious, but it had been their heart's desire for years to finally manufacture eyewear of outstanding quality and beauty. Here in Koblenz - from where the two pioneers have always operated.

The combination of the old French spelling of the city (Coblence), paired with the English word Lens, gave rise to the name of the manufactory. Today, it is one of the leading manufacturers of first-class titanium eyewear. COBLENS glasses are already available from selected dealers in 15 countries.
